Yes. Ensembles with up to 25 members use BandBliss completely free, no credit card required, and it never expires. When your ensemble grows beyond 25, paid plans start at just $19/mo, and you simply pay for the size you are, up to 300 members ($99/mo). Every plan includes all features.

Which members count toward my plan size?

Accepted Answer

Only active and on-leave members count toward your plan limit. Former members are stored free of charge, so you can keep your full roster history without affecting your bill, and recruits live in the Recruiting pipeline until you accept them. Portal access follows the same rule: active and on-leave members can sign in, while former members cannot.

Can I import my existing member list?

Yes. Paste directly from a spreadsheet or upload a CSV file. AI automatically suggests how your columns map to fields like name, email, phone, and section. You review and confirm everything before anything is saved.

How does communication work?

Send email messages to all members, specific sections, reusable message groups, your audience contacts, or everyone at once. You can schedule messages ahead of time, attach files, run polls and surveys, and members can message each other directly through the in-app inbox. Everything is logged in your history.

Can members log in too?

Yes. Every active member gets their own portal login where they can RSVP, sync the ensemble calendar, sign required documents, view assigned music and equipment, check their dues balance, and keep their contact information current.

Can members sync events to their own calendars?

Yes. Each member receives a secure calendar subscription link for Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, Outlook, and other calendar apps. They subscribe once, and new or updated ensemble events appear when their calendar refreshes the feed.

Can we collect electronic signatures?

Yes. Upload a policy, agreement, handbook, or form, require a signature, and set an optional deadline. Members or guardians sign from the portal, while administrators can track completion and automatically remind only the people who have not signed.

Can we track member dues?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Create a dues assessment (like season dues), and BandBliss tracks who has paid and who still owes. Record payments in any method, including cash, check, and Venmo, and send automatic email reminders to members with an outstanding balance.

Yes. You can invite additional administrators who can manage members, events, and content alongside you.

What is asset tracking?

Asset tracking lets you log instruments, uniforms, and other equipment. Check items out to members, print QR code labels for fast check-ins, schedule maintenance, track condition history, and receive email reminders when items are overdue. You can even export an insurance report of your full inventory.

Yes, every ensemble gets a free public website. Pick your brand color and choose which sections to show, like upcoming events, your conductors, open positions, and contact info.
